Mary Luann Racher, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBGYN) at UAMS. She is a native Arkansan who earned her medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2010 and completed her residency in the UAMS Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2014. She is passionate about education and serves as the Assistant Residency Program Director for the Department of OBGYN. In 2015, Dr. Racher was recognized for her role in education with the Resident Excellence in Teaching Award.In addition to treating a wide array of gynecological issues, Dr. Racher is also the Director of the UAMS Center for Vulvovaginal Disease. She specializes in treating conditions such as Lichen Sclerosis, Lichen Planus, Vulvodynia, chronic vaginitis and vulvitis, and many others. She is proud to serve as the only vulvar specialist in the state of Arkansas and accepts referrals from the surrounding region. She is also a member of the International Society for the Study of Vulvovaginal Disease and the International Society for the Study of Women's Sexual Health.Dr. Racher is currently accepting new patients and is devoted to providing superb health care for women across generations.
